Rosie, 25, is a London based presenter, writer, and actor.
She is currently hosting the Pop Culture Baking Class series for The Genius Kitchen channel, part of the Scripps Network US. The first series, filmed in New York, was a top performer for the channel and Rosie is now busy developing recipes for a second series, this time shooting in London.
Rosie earned her foodie credentials working as part of the Meringue Girls collective. The Broadway Market based bakery is famous for its showstopping meringue creations and Rosie has been involved in campaigns and events learning from founders Alex and Stacey. She has also been fortunate enough to assist Clare Ptak (Violet), the baker responsible for Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake. Rosie has gained invaluable experience working with these mentors.
Rosie has already achieved much in her 25 years…she has experienced working in the film business in LA and the music scene in London. With two professional musicians as parents, Rosie has been immersed in the Arts since childhood. Educated in both classical and modern music from an early age, she is adept at the violin. Rosie is also a writer and actor. Trained at the National Youth Theatre, Rosie has secured roles in productions at The Lyric, The Shaftesbury and Hampstead theatre.
Her writing achievements to date are no less impressive. Rosie’s play ROOST was chosen as one of the Top Five plays at the Bolton Octagon Theatre’s Top Five Festival in February 2017, whilst her short play MORKER was chosen out of 1400 submissions to be a finalist for the Samuel French OOB Short Play festival in New York in August 2017. Her short film APPLY WITHIN was selected for the BFI Short Film Festival and screened at BAFTA.
